Blink-182 en Los Angeles Times: "Blink-182 es mayor y, sus miembros piensan, mas sabios."
After drummer Travis Barker's brush with death, he, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge put aside differences and reunite.
There is an element of calm amid the chaos in Travis Braker´s dressing room. It's hours before showtime at Blink-182s concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, and Barker's three kids are running wild, banging on his drum kit, spinning on a skateboard, playing an unplugged electric guitar, happily tumbling and laughing.
The drummer watches it all with genuine serenity. Even on tour, he keeps the three children close whenever possible. "My kids were very healing for me," he says.

Rolling Stone entrevista a Blink-182
Back in the days of Total Request Live, the three members of Blink-182 seemed to have barely distinguishable personalities. But anyone who has ever spent time with Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom Delonge knows that was never true. They are three drastically different men with very different ideas of what the band should sound like, and how they should evolve as a collective unit. Those problems came to a boiling point in 2005 and they took a four-year break. They reformed for a reunion tour in 2009, and spent the last two years recording their new album Neighborhoods.

KROQ Radio Analiza Neighborhoods
The internet was hit with a leaked copy of Blink-182‘s new forthcoming album, Neighborhoods, which is due out September 27th. As we all know, when something big like this gets leaked, it spreads like wildfire – and that wildfire happened to spread all the way to our desks here at KROQ.com, where a copy of the new album found it’s way into our stereo and has been blasting non-stop.

Nota de MTV sobre Neighborhoods
Sometime around 2003, Blink-182 decided it was time to tack their dirty joke doctorates to the wall (presumably in their respective offices, which is where everyone's degree eventually ends up) and press on as a more serious-minded outfit. The reasons behind that decision were many — the new perspective that comes with fatherhood, a decade spent on the road, recording with Robert Smith — though, truth be told, their somber new suits never seemed to fit, mostly because, at that point, they were best known for putting porn stars in their videos and giving their albums titles like Take off Your Pants and Jacket and Enema of the State.

Blink-182 en Billboard
It's Sept. 3, and Blink-182 is about to tear through a bunch of snotty anthems and trademark masturbation jokes during its show at Salt Lake City's USANA Amphitheatre. Hours before the concert, bassist Mark Hoppus is sitting outside in a black T-shirt and gold sunglasses, drinking bottled water and talking about a few of the gut-wrenching tracks on the band's new album, "Neighborhoods."
"I couldn't," he says, "write a happy song for this record."
Everyone gets older. But when did Blink-182 -- the band that ran around naked in its most iconic music video (for "What's My Age Again?") and titled its 2001 fourth album "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" -- get so damn serious?
"As people and performers, we definitely still have some stuff we need to work out, and we need to grow up with," says Hoppus, 39, via Skype. "[The album] is lyrically pretty heavy in a lot of places. Maybe that's where we are in our heads. We've gone through a lot of stuff over the past few years. We're in a better place because of it all-but we've gone through some shit."
